The
search engine submission process isn't
quite as simple as it at first sounds.
Certainly, at its most basic, it seems
easy: just let the search engine know that
your site is available! But
submission without paying some amount of
attention to what you are submitting -- to
whether your site is opimized for
search
engines,
is able to be effectively spidered, and
has a potential for good rankings on
important keywords -- is simply a waste of
time. A bigger waste of time is the use of
mass submission software or services that
promise to submit your site to hundreds,
or thousands, or even a million search
engines or directories. Listing your site
in FFA link sites and link farms will
bring no useful traffic, and under some
circumstances can hurt your ranking in the
important search engines, like
Google. Automated
submission programs, too, ignore such
important submissions as those to
AltaVista and the Open Directory project,
as well as Yahoo! Manual submission is the
only way to get into these and others, and
is the best way to get into all of the
important search resources.To get that
high search engine ranking, it's a good
idea to turn to someone who knows the
submission requirements and standards of
each search engine to handle your
submissions. At 2020visible we've invested
a substantial amount of both time and
money to building and maintaining an
understanding of the submission process;
and that process is the first step to your
best search engine ranking! We
encourage full optimization as described
throughout the "services" section of this
site, but for those who don't need that
level of service or want to save money in
the short term and just " get submitted"
we cover a selection of services that
focus on manual submission, while
including "personal touch" service to make
sure that your site is ready! Sign
