My
Internet Place search engine optimization
campaign consists of two major phases:
startup and maintenance. Each of those two
will be priced separately for your
campaign. The maintenance phase is
optional; you can choose to contract for
any monthly maintenance of any length of
time, or to simply end the campaign upon
completion the startup phase. Each
campaign is very much tailored to the
needs of your site, any products or
services you sell, and your goals. To get
started, we define two classes of service
that roughly fit the size of a site and
the related budget. We call these small
business, professional, and enterprise. Of
course, in practice, any class of service
could be applied to any site. Our pricing
and service classes page contains a more
detailed discussion. We
ideally don't estimate our pricing for a
campaign before having some fairly
in-depth conversation with you. We try to
avoid presenting a shopping list of
activities with a price tag for each one,
because we frankly feel it's unfair to our
clients to price each activity the same
regardless of the complexity of the
individual site's challenges. That is,
some firms will charge a setprice to
optimize perhaps five html subpages. If
your pages are extremely complex, then, you
might get a deal. But if they're not, of
they're already partially optimized, or
you only have four pages that need work,
you're not getting a good deal. In search
engine optimization, one price may not fit
all. The
above is especially true for large and
complex sites, but small to
moderately-sized sites and optimization
campaigns of lesser complexity do allow
package pricing for those clients that
prefer to work on that basis. Our
Keyword Master
Report
is also now available as a separate
service. For
larger projects and custom packages,
here's our approach: upon our
initialevaluation (which is performed at
no charge), we'll simply tell you whether
we can help you and in what ways. That is,
if we can't reasonably expect to help your
site's placement, we simply won't begin to
work. We may still be able to give you
some complementary general advice, but we
won't enter into a relationship where we
can't expect results. When
we do accept your project, we'll first
present you with a complete optimization
proposal outlining specific weaknesses and
problems we see with your site, as well as
its strength s and most importantly what
can be done to maximize your search engine
presence. In that proposal we'll outline
costs and usually present a few different
pricing approach options for you to choose
from. Usually,
then, we're ready to go! We will prepare a
complete site plan, outlining the steps to
be taken to begin to bring increased
search engine traffic to your site. If
you're still unsure, we can pause once we
get here, and present you with that plan
for evaluation. Even if you should decide
not to go further with My Internet
Place, that document will be valuable as a
starting point for your search engine
management program -- you may choose to
pay only for that initial research and
planning and complete the work of our
optimization campaign yourself if you
prefer. Of
course, the "do-it-yourself"' approach
would require some understanding of search
engine optimization techniques. And, of
course, we don't recommend it! The
point is, though, with our pricing
approach you take no risks. Ask today for
a free, no-obligation preliminary
evaluation of your site to get started,
